The Three Gates

Before an authorized person or team can respond to any governance exchange on CrossProof, three controls are applied in sequence. All three must be satisfied. There are no exceptions and no overrides. The specific implementation of each control is proprietary and patent pending.

Gate 1 — Identity Control
Confirmed to a registered device
Before any governance exchange can be seen or responded to, the designated person or team at the partner organization confirms their presence through a registered device. This confirmation is structural — the exchange content is not visible until confirmation is complete. An AI agent cannot complete this step on behalf of a human. A shared account cannot satisfy it. The confirmation is tied to a specific registered identity.
Gate 2 — Session Control
Credential expires on submission
Each governance exchange carries a session-bound credential scoped to that exchange only. It is issued at the moment the exchange opens. It cannot be reused, transferred, shared, or replayed. It expires the moment the exchange closes — whether by response or by timeout. If an exchange times out, the credential is void and the non-response is recorded as a posture signal.
Gate 3 — Relationship Control
Active contract required to participate
No exchange opens between parties unless an active contractual relationship exists and is verified by the platform. The contract is not a document on file — it is a live gate. If the contractual relationship between a coordinating organization and a partner is inactive, suspended, or expired, that partner cannot participate in any CrossProof Grid exchange. Access ends when the relationship ends.
The specific controls are proprietary and patent pending.
What they produce is independently verifiable: a timestamped, identity-bound governance record that no party in the CrossProof Grid — including the coordinating organization — controlled or assembled. That independence is what makes the record defensible.
What the Controls Produce

When all three gates are satisfied across every partner in a CrossProof Grid governance cycle, the platform produces a Network Posture Score — a timestamped, independently generated evidence record of the governance posture of the entire partner network. Each entry in the record is tied to a verified identity, a session-bound credential, and an active contractual relationship. That combination is what makes the record court-ready, auditor-ready, and insurer-ready.
